Introduction

Heist was reformed at the start of WOTLK with the intention of catering to highly skilled players who no longer had the will or time to raid in any of todays billion 9 AM raiding guilds but still had the urge to be on the forefront of progress. To this day, that is exactly what we are. During progress the guild raids between 19:00 and 00:00 five days a week (Friday and Saturday being offdays), there are no extensive raiding days that start as soon as servers come up.

History

Our current mentality when it comes to raiding derives from Heist's history in The Burning Crusade. As a 9 AM guild our players achieved several high world ranks in Sunwell until eventually burning out and disbanding. This second time around there is only good old fashioned efficient raiding, plain and simple. We play harder, better and more motivated than any other guild subjecting their members to gruesome 12 hour long raid days.

Heist originally emerged in 2007 as the more hardcore players of the two guilds Sunday Union and Eternal Corpse Council of Vek'nilash joined forces. Once Sunwell was released the guild went on to claim kills such as EU 4th Kalecgos, world 6th Brutallus and world 11th Felmyst before burning out and eventually disbanding.

The guild appeared once again on Darksorrow in the beginning of Wrath of the Lich King with its new raiding mentality and strong community bringing old and new friends together once again. We started off clearing Naxxramas, Sartharion and Malygos with a player base of twenty two raiders. In the middle of Ulduar the base of Heist's current raiding squad was formed by absorbing several players from an (un)fortunate disband. Shortly thereafter we were faced with what most raiders would call the worst summer in the history of WoW, but the guild prevailed and ever since we have been steadily climbing higher and higher up the world rankings, while all the time staying true to our raiding mentality.

In Trial of the Grand Crusader we achieved a EU 53rd Tribute to Insanity after having been rendered unable to pull Anub'arak for three whole weeks due to three key raiders leaving without notice.

Our success continued with Icecrown Citadel and we killed Lich King on the first reset making it an EU 26th without any alt raid or the like to help us, beating multiple 9 AM raiding guilds in the process.
