Today our recipient of Shadowmourne, Qruz completed his axe by collecting all 50 shards. May his new found peen slice through those evil monsters with precision and ease.

We also got the Sealed Chest from killing the Lich King which seems to be something of a first, as it does not seem to be a 100% drop.

We also completed Glory of the Icecrown Raider this week so that some of us got our pretty little gladiator wannabe mounts.

Proper progress on LK starts next week for us and, after being refreshed with our small progress break we are looking forward to the challenge it will bring.

This boss should have died a week ago, a devistating string of low percentage wipes capped off by an 80k hp wipe just describes how close it was.

We came back this week with a little change of strat and downed the boss with little complication. Good job to everyone involved.

Only one major boss to go for Wrath of the Lich King. Looking forward to taking him down after the few weeks of farm that we are now quite frankly looking forward to so that we can wind down a little before the final push.

So the first week of hardmodes has ended. We finished the week with 9 of the 12 possible hardmodes defeated and are pleased with the progress we made considering we didn't change our normal raiding scedule (Sun-Thurs 19-00). The big three bosses remain and we are confident that we will see progress on them in the next lockout.

After a long raiding week, we finally managed to bring down the Lich King. Over the course of the tries we had some very unfortunate wipes. Then when the final attempt remained, we pulled ourselves together and got him down. We were also pleased to have downed him before the changes to normal mode tries come into effect.
